Wildaria release date
Early Access on 8 October 2026, on Windows and macOS. Steam is the launch storefront and Linux is not listed. Price, launch discount and the exact Early Access content split have not been published — anything quoting them before release is guesswork.

The date
Wildaria leaves closed alpha and enters Early Access on 8 October 2026, on Windows and macOS. The Steam page listed the game as coming soon when this page was checked on 2 October 2026, and the store page's release block read exactly: Oct 8, 2026.
Two platform notes worth having in advance:
- Linux is not listed. The store page's platform flags cover Windows and macOS only.
- Steam is the launch storefront. The developer's own site also distributes builds through itch.io for earlier public versions; the release build is the Steam one.
What we do not know yet
This is where most pre-launch pages quietly invent things, so here is the honest list, all checked 2 October 2026:
| Question | Status |
|---|---|
| Price | Not published on the store page yet — no price block, no pre-order. |
| Regional pricing | Follows whatever the launch price is; no data before launch. |
| Launch discount | No announcement either way. |
| Post-launch discount cadence | Nothing announced. |
| Exact content split (EA vs 1.0) | Described in general terms only — see the next section. |
| Multiplayer at launch | No. The developer has said development resumes later; details on the multiplayer page. |
| Full controller support | Yes — listed on the store page, including DualShock and DualSense support. |
What Early Access means here
Wildaria has been playable in public builds since 2024, and its patch history reads like a game that kept growing in the open: combat reworks, a character study update, an ocean update, a bioluminescence biome, a companion arena, a druid update, a world-generation overhaul in June 2026, and then a closed alpha in July. Early Access is the next step in that same line, not a fresh start.
Practically, that means:
- The systems are already in place. Taming, riding, pets with elemental abilities, procedural dungeons, Animal Gods, quests, trading and character creation all exist in the builds players have been testing.
- Balance and content are still moving. Builds have been versioned 1.1.x through 2.6, then reset to a 1.0.x line at closed alpha. Expect the Early Access line to keep shifting around feedback.
- Localisation is planned, not shipped. The game currently lists English only, with English full audio. The developer has said localisation is planned for a later update and named French as one of the languages in scope.
Release-day checklist
- Wishlist it now if you have not — Steam's launch notification is the only reliable alarm you will get.
- Check the store page on 8 October for the price and launch build notes; this page will be updated the same day.
- Do not buy for multiplayer. It is not in the launch build — see the multiplayer page.
- Read the beginner guide before your first session. The tutorial has been reworked more than once specifically because players got lost in it.
